Inuit Provincial Hamper Program

Making sure the hamper program is being run in the best way to help the Inuit community in Manitoba.

Our activities include:

• Calling Inuit community to set up delivery and pick up for their hampers
• Unloading the U-Haul with all the supplies for the hampers
• Organizing all the supplies
• Packing all the hamper weekly
• Getting the meat packs ready
• Assisting the coordinator with delivers
• Sending out Gift cards to those Inuit in Rural, MB
• Setting up accounts with the northern store in Churchill, MB to ensure the Inuit in Churchill are being helped
• Ordering country food from Hunters or Kivalliq Arctic Foods to ensure Inuit in Manitoba have Country food
• Providing emergency food to those in need
• Providing care packages to vulnerable inuit
• Providing PPE, Face masks and hand sanitizer
