MTS hands out phone books every year. If you would like a phone book you can call 225-5687 or visit www.canada411.ca/index.html.
The front of the phone books is full of important information. You will find emergency numbers, maps, postal codes, long distance charges and much more. The back of the White Pages has government listings, departments and phone numbers. If you require further support about government programs, you can call 1-800-O-Canada (1-800-622-6232). You can also visit www.canada.gc.ca.

Internet, computer and library information
The internet is very helpful and provides abundant information. Some information listed in this guide is given through website addresses. If you need to find a computer to use, you can phone 311 and book time on a library computer. You may require a library card, which you can get for free. You will need identification with you when getting a library card. To contact any city library, call 311 and ask for your nearest library branch. A few library locations are listed below, or you can refer to a phone book for more locations, or visit www.wpl.winnipeg.ca/library.
