Our mandate is to work towards building community for Inuit who reside in Winnipeg and Manitoba.

Our goals are:

Education

To support students who come here for schooling who need academic, emotional , social and transitional support.

To support those who would like to learn about the Inuit. This includes educating Inuit about our own culture, language and history. While many may have a good sense of this, it needs to be maintained; for those who have lost it, this is an opportunity to re-gain some understanding.

Health

To support Inuit to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Housing

To have an area for students and other Inuit to reside where they receive safe and affordable housing in a supportive environment.

Culture

To provide culturally appropriate programs in many areas, including daycare, language, traditional activities, games, etc.
